I retired 5 years ago and returned to painting as a creative endeavour. Initially I worked in water colours with a very innovative teacher.  Gradually I have been shifting to acrylics and multi media since moving to Vancouver from eastern Canada. 
Ann's course is my first collage course and I love the freedom of expression it offers.  The course and Ann's style encouraged me to loosen up and try things. I had fun.
The large painting is entitled "Love L" as it includes a love letter from an old boy friend. The series is called Egypt and is created from "created" papers and not from painting.
