Laurie Mullikin 

After an early retirement from the corporate world, I took up the "Inner Game of Art" imagining the great things I could do. On those rare occasions when I actually attempt something, I get humbled by what it takes to make something "work". I've crafted all my life, love many styles of art and spend way too much time collecting all kinds of  old and new images and text. I dabble in photography and the "book arts". I'm now determined to bring it all together in art I like enough to display in my house.

 

On the last day, I took my time on the big painting to create something I really liked. Thus, running true to form, it wasn't done when the class ended, but with all I learned in the workshop, I'm off to a great start!
