I am a retired teacher who has always needed to create! As a child it was telling fantastic stories. Early adult years found me potting and selling functional stoneware. Now that my family is grown and I no longer work outside the home, I consider myself a full time artist. My favored medium is fabric. I dye, paint, stitch, display and sell wall art made of silk and/or cotton. In many ways what I do is collage with fabric.

Now that I have been introduced to collage with paint on paper and canvas, I am playing with new possibilities. It is play. It is joyful. It is life affirming! I hope I never stop learning!
