The Proust Series
Marcel Proust found that memories were often associated with taste. Dipping an ordinary little cake in a spoonful of tea sent him into ecstasies. Being British, tea is also my drug of choice! Images of naked women are mingled with red 'lipstick' kisses, references to his ambiguous feelings towards his mother as he eagerly awaited her goodnight kiss.
